All VDCs in Myagdi to have internet facility

internetMyagdi / February 27: A campaign to manage funds for internet connectivity in all VDCs in Myagdi district has been started.

The District Development Committee (DDC), Myagdi, and Myagdi Overseas Nepali Association (MONA) inked a deal on Friday for the collection of fund needed to launch the campaign.

District Development Officer Chiranjibi Poudel and Chairman of MONA Yogendra Bahadur Chhetri singed the memorandum of understanding amid a function in Beni to expand the internet service in all parts of the district.

The total cost of the project is estimated Rs 40 million and 50 per cent of the total budget is expected to get from rural telecommunications fund of the Nepal Telecommunications Authority, Poudel added.

Chhetri said that the campaign was launched to collect the fund of Rs 20 million to materialise the project and urged all the migrants from Myagdi district to support from their respective sides. RSS
