Five new storage centres for fuel: Supplies Minister

Oil Storage PointJhapa / February 28: Minister for Commerce and Supplies Ganesh Man Pun has said that fuel supplies would be eased soon.

Speaking at a press meet at Birtamod today, Minister Pun said the current scarcity was because fuel being received from India was not in sufficient quantity. He said the storage capacity for fuel would be increased through new collection centres in five different places.

“We are getting only 70 per cent of fuel from India, and the remaining, we will bring from China after signing a bilateral agreement”, he said. A storage depot will be set up in Chaarali, for which process of acquiring land has began, he added. RSS
