Japanese jazz concert to be held in Kathmandu

Kathmandu / March 16: The Embassy of Japan and Japan Foundation are jointly hosting the Sato Masahiko and Nomadismo jazz concert in the capital to mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of the diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan.

The concert will be held on March 26 with the participation of Japanese pianist Masahiko Sato, violinist Kesuke Ota, Yochi Okabe and jazz singer Okiko Oasugi and Nepali artists Rabin Lal Shrestha and Suresh Raj Bajracharya.

Tickets to the concert are available for free at the Embassy.

The joint presentation of Nepali and Japanese artists is expected to further boost the close bilateral relations between the two countries, says a statement issued by the Embassy here Wednesday. RSS
