Nepal Day Parade held in New York

US flagAmerica (New York) / May 23: A ‘Nepal Day’ Parade has been organised at New York today on the occasion of the Republic Day of Nepal on May 28.

Charge d’Affairs at the Permanent Mission of Nepal to United Nations, Sewa Lamsal, flagged off the Nepal ‘Day’ Parade.

Various processions depicting Nepali culture, tourism messages, among others were demonstrated for three hours at Manhattan.

It is the first demonstration in America depicting Nepal as well as its culture. The particvipants of the Parade had put on traditional costumes of different communities of Nepal as well as played Panchebaja, a traditional music.

Nepali people, living in the US including students and artists were present on the occasion. RSS
