PM Oli hosts reception to film artists; urges to focus national unity

FAN AwardKathmandu / July 3: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged artists to focus on national development and unity while developing films, songs and music.

At a day reception organized at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar in honour of the Film Artists Association of Nepal (FAAN) awarded artists today, Prime Minister Oli stressed on prioritizing the issues of consensus, collaboration and development adding that trend of political satire should have changed with the changed socio-political context.

Referring to the FAAN felicitated artists, the Prime Minister said that the felicitation has filled up the generation gap as Hari Prasad Rimal in the 90s and Anmol KC in the twenties were felicitated by the same award.

Also present on the occasion were Information Minister Sherdhan Rai, actor Rajesh Hamal, FAAN chair Ram Keshar Bogati and over 200 artists. RSS
