Auspicious Timings for Dashain Tika Announced for Various Countries

Kathmandu / September 20. The International Panchang Decision Committee has announced the auspicious timings for receiving Dashain Tika across different countries. The decision was made during a meeting of the committee held today, according to Member Secretary Acharya Laxman Panthi.
He explained that many Vedic Sanatan Hindu devotees residing abroad had inquired about the auspicious timings for Tika. Therefore, the committee released the timings based on local calendars and respective local times of each country.
For Nepal, the auspicious Tika time falls on October 2 (Ashoj 16) at 11:53 a.m. Similarly, in Delhi, India, the timing will be at 11:49 a.m. on the same day. In New York, USA, it will be at 11:25 a.m. on October 1, while in Frankfurt, Kentucky at 11:57 a.m., Owensboro, Kentucky at 11:05 a.m., Texas at 11:33 a.m., Washington D.C. at 11:35 a.m., California at 11:11 a.m., and Colorado at 11:29 a.m.
In Canada, the auspicious hour in Toronto is 11:55 a.m. on October 1, while in Vancouver it is 11:33 a.m. In Tokyo, Japan, the Tika time will be 11:31 a.m. on October 2. For Australia, the timings are Sydney (11:43 a.m.), Melbourne (11:19 a.m.), Brisbane (11:53 a.m.), Adelaide (11:35 a.m.), Canberra (11:51 a.m.), Tasmania (11:45 a.m.), Perth (11:25 a.m.) and Darwin (11:47 a.m.)—all on October 2.
For Wellington, New Zealand, the auspicious time is 11:23 a.m. on October 2. In Europe, Lisbon, Portugal has the timing at 9:23 a.m., London, UK at 9:17 a.m., Paris, France at 9:57 a.m., and Oslo, Norway at 10:03 a.m. In Asia and the Middle East, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s timing is 11:11 a.m., Abu Dhabi, UAE at 10:55 a.m., Doha, Qatar at 10:13 a.m., Bangkok, Thailand at 10:45 a.m., Seoul, South Korea at 10:57 a.m., Tel Aviv, Israel at 11:35 a.m., Singapore at 11:09 a.m., Hong Kong at 11:45 a.m., Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at 10:55 a.m., Yangon, Myanmar at 10:27 a.m., Geneva, Switzerland at 10:25 a.m., and Malta at 10:55 a.m.
According to Committee Vice-Chairman Prof. Dr. Devmani Bhattarai, these timings have been officially published for observance by Hindu devotees across the globe. RSS
