Lumbini unmatchable tourist destination: Vice-President Pun

LumbiniKathmandu / Aug 1: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said Lumbini, the birthplace of the Gautam Buddha, is the hub of hundreds of thousand Buddhist tourists from across the globe.

Addressing a programme organized on the fourth anniversary of tourismheadlines.com here Monday, Vice-President Pun said, “The natural specificities of Nepal are not only to lure the foreign tourists but also the sources to jack up national economy.”

On the occasion, Chief Editor of the news portal, Dibakar Aryal, said the news portal was operated to contribute to making the international community aware of Nepal’s tourism potential.

Similarly, Chairman of Thamel Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Association, Ram Sharan Thapaliya, pointed out the need that government should pay attention on how the tourism could be boosted.
