Lightning kills one, injures six in Makawanpur

Hetauda / Aug. 06: A minor died and six others were injured in separate incidents of lighting in Makwanpur district on Friday.
Kumari Gole (4) died when a lightning struck her at Charikhet Palanse in the district yesterday.
She was at her uncle’s house when the lightning hit her. Police said that Maya Moktan, Maili Moktan, Maina Kumari Gole, Heeramaya Moktan and Kacnnhi Gole were injured in the incident.
Likewise, Amrita Moktan was severely injured after being struck by a lightning at Handikhola VDC-4 in the district. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Churehill and the Hetaunda Hospitals.
