India to assist school building constructions in Ilam

schoolIlam / Sept 6:The Government of India is to provide monetary aid of Rs 40 million to construct a school building at Barbote-1. The Saptamai Gurukul Bidhyasharam Secondary School has said it was promised the financial assistance by the Indian Embassy to construct its new building.

The school is running its classes through huts. According to school principal Bhogendra Dahal, the Indian Embassy has already signed an agreement with the school, promising the monetary aid to construct a 24-room building. The construction of a new building will start after few days and it will be completed with the next 15 months, it is learnt. RSS
