Visiting Princess Beatrice of York visits Tilganga Eye Hospital

Kathmandu / Oct 2: Princess Beatrice of York, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, who is on Nepal visit, has today visited the Tilganga Eye Hospital. She also watched eye bank, an eye lens manufacturing industry and the training hall.

She also consulted with ophthalmologists on the condition of services the hospital has been providing.

The Princess felt visibly excited when she heard of the hospital providing free service to those from impoverished family, said Executive Chief Officer of the hospital Dr Rita Gurung.

The Princess also praised the hospital’s coordination with other hospitals in delivering services, Gurung said, hopping that the Princess may provide assistances to the hospital. RSS
