Digital audio notice board installed
Kathmandu / Nov 3: Anyone going to foreign employment can now acquire the required information about the destination country by dialing 01-4105058.
A digital audio notice board that provides information about the four major destination countries for Nepali migrant workers—Qatar, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates was inaugurated here on Thursday, marking the 9th foundation day of the Foreign Employment Promotion Board.
Minister for Labour and Employment Surya Man Gurung initiated the service by dialing 01-4105058. After first dialing the number, one can get information about Qatar by pressing 1, about Malaysia by pressing 2, about UAE by pressing 3 and Saudi Arabia by pressing 4.
Information provided through the phone service is related to the language, weather, currency, production, religion, art, culture and ways to save oneself from road accident and diseases.
The service that began with four countries will gradually be increased in the days to come, said the Board’s Executive Director Raghuraj Kafley. RSS
