VP Pun expresses concern on wildlife conservation

Vice President PunChitwan / Dec 12: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has on Monday visited different areas of the Chitwan National Park.

The Vice-President today visited crocodile breeding centre, Lami pond, Tamor pond, Kamal pond, Budhi Rapti, among others, according to Chief Conservation Officer at the Park, Ram Chandra Kandel.

After visiting the areas, Vice-President Pun expressed his concern about wildlife conservation by signing on the Kasara-based information notice board.

On the occasion, Kandel familiarized Vice-President Pun about different issues related to wildlife including wildlife conservation, habits of animals, their habitats, challenges seen in conservation of wildlife as well as achievements.

VP Pun is scheduled to visit other important places of the Park as well as to inaugurate the 22nd anniversary of NGO Federation and National civic convention on Tuesday. RSS
