Thapaliya expelled for fleecing foreign job aspirants

Labor, Foreign EmploymentKathmandu / Jan 12: Nepal Progressive Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs Forum has expelled Proprietor of Immigration Security Clearance (ISC), Govinda Thapaliya, terminating his membership of the Forum.

Forum’s General Secretary Rajendra Bhandari informed that Thapaliya was taken action because of his involvement in fleecing the workers aspiring jobs in Malaysia.

He was taking Rs 3,200 from each Nepali opting for jobs in Malaysia, merely for securing their finger prints. Asked to furnish clarification on it, he failed to give justifiable reason, deserving the expulsion, said the Forum.

The International Relations and Labour Committee of the Legislature-Parliament had already directed the Home Ministry to take action against the ISC run by Thapaliya. RSS
