Prez Bhandari hopes bilateral ties will strengthen more; President Bhandari meets Indian PM Modi

PresidentNew Delhi / Apr. 18: President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who is in New Delhi for a 5-day state visit to India, has expressed her confidence that the bilateral ties would be strengthened further through her visit.

In brief talks with media persons after receiving a guard of honour there, President Bhandari hoped that the cultural ties existing between the two countries will be strengthened more in the days ahead.

On the occasion, President Bhandari hoped for the peace and progress of Indian people. Also present on the occasion were, Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi including other VIPs.

Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who is on a five-day state visit to India, at the Rastrapati Bhawan on Tuesday.

Earlier, Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitely also called on Nepal’s visiting President Bhandari. RSS
