Dahal govt most successful in country’s history: Energy Minister

Kathmandu / Jun 3: Energy Minister Janardan Sharma on Saturday claimed that the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ was a successful one in the history of the country.

He further went a step ahead to claim that the CPN (Maoist Centre) could not achieve expected results in the first phase of the local level elections due to the failure to inform people of the success as much.

The Minister was addressing a training programme organised by the Press Centre Nepal in Lalitpur.

“The wave of public supports for the party (Maoist Center) could not be had due to the failure to spread the success of the government among people in a decent manner. It seems that information about works of governments and party itself should be disseminated properly in the days to come,” he said.

Ending load-shedding, the success of Ujyalo Nepal Campaign and projects of national pride and the high economic growth in the past 25 years are an example of a success of the government, he said.

Approximately 50 journalists active in the district are to be trained on development journalism. RSS
