1,424 civil servants transferred under first round

government logoKathmandu / Sept. 20: The Ministry of General Administration has concluded the first phase of civil servants transfer process.

Under this process, 1,424 civil servants have been transferred, said Lilaraj Kafle, section officer at the Ministry’s administration section.

“The transfer has been made to various ministries and sectors like the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, taking into account the urgency, and this is not the regular process to transfer civil servants,” he said.

According to the Ministry, 117 under secretaries, and 80 officers have been transferred to Ministry of Local Development.

Others include 766 non-gazetted first class officers and 461 non-gazetted second class officers.

All the transferred bureaucrats have received transformation letters, said Kafle.

The Ministry was preparing to send additional civil servants to local levels if needed, he added. RSS
