Expedite construction of projects of national pride: Devt Committee to Govt

Parliament BuildingKathmandu / Sept. 20: The Development Committee under the Legislature-Parliament has issued directives to the government to accelerate the construction of mega projects in the country.

The meeting chaired by Committee’s President Rabindra Adhikari in the Capital today issued the directive to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Finance and National Planning Commission on the same.

The directive states that the projects like Kathmandu-Nijgadh Fast Track be constructed at the earliest.

The Committee has also drawn the attention of the concerned authorities to make a timely decision on whether to purchase Detail Project Report on Kathmandu-Nijgadh Fast Track from Indian company or not.

The Nepal Army has been entrusted with responsibility to construct the Fast Track. RSS
