Govt to provide training to 10,000 foreign job aspirants

Labor, Foreign EmploymentKathmandu / Oct 29: The government will provide free training to 10,000 youths aspiring to go for foreign employment.

As part of the scheme, eligible firms, organisations or companies have been asked to register for running the training sessions, said Executive Director for the Foreign Employment Promotion Board Raghu Raj Kafle. The training will be conducted on different job categories including construction, hotel management, tailoring-garment and security guard.

The training entitled ‘foreign employment skills development training’ will be run by the FEPB with the financial support from the Safer Migration Project (SaMi).

Of those who express interest in running the training sessions, some will be shortlisted in the first phase, and the bidding would be called thereafter, said Kafle. RSS
