‘Run for My School’ campaign organised in Lalitpur

Run-for-My-School-campaignKathmandu / Nov 19: Students from seven different schools in Lalitpur had organsied a ‘Run for My School’ campaign, a fund raising event on the occassion of International Children Rights Day on Saturday.

A total of 443 students including children from the UK had participated in the event.

The campaign was organised to support and initiate the required reconstruction works in schools in Lalitpur, which was damaged in the 2015 Gorkha earthquake.

Raising money themselves has helped revive a sense of ownership of the schools among the local community.
