KMC intensifies move against haphazard placing of hoarding boards

Kathmandu MetropolitionKathmandu / Mar 29: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has intensified its move to remove hoarding boards that have been placed haphazardly against the metropolis’s regulation.

KMC had removed the advertisements and hoarding boards that were haphazardly placed in different parts of the city. The Metropolitan Office has again made efforts to remove the advertisements to serve the vision of a beautiful city.

KMC Director Nawaraj Dhakal said that legal action would be taken if evidences of such wrong doings were found.

“All the hoarding boards and advertisements placed in different parts of the city without complying with the rule would be removed. Besides, action will be taken against those who implanted such boards and advertisements,” said KMC Revenue Department Chief Rajya Prakash Pradhan.

The KMC has mobilised police teams on a daily basis to put away such advertisements and boards. RSS
