Fifth Nai Nabhannu La in August

Kathmandu, Jun 27/The fifth installment of the hit franchise Nai Nabhannu La will see onscreen romance between actress Swastima Khadka and debutante Abhisek Nepal. Alongside the two stars, the film will also feature established actors such as Niruta Singh, Dilip Rayamajhi, Keki Adhikari, and Priyanka Karki, among others. The film is directed by Bikash Acharya, who has directed all four previous installments of the franchise.

Speaking at a function organised to release the first look of its film poster, director Acharya said that Nai Nabhannu La 5 is a family drama. “Like other films in the series, this one is a family drama centred around a love story,” Acharya said.

The film will feature two debutantes, Abhisek Nepal and Sedrina Sharma; and will see onscreen romance between Nepal and Khadka, and Sharma and Anubhav.
Nai Nabhannu La 5 is written jointly by Bikash Acharya and Samipya Raj Timalsena and was shot in locations around Jhapa and Ilam.

The first installment of Nai Nabhannu La was released in 2014, starring actors Jiwan Luitel, Suman Singh, Richa Singh Thakuri , Mithila Sharma, Mukesh Acharya, and Hemanta Budhathoki, among others.

The film will hit theatres across the country on August 24, which will have the film likely to clash at box office with the upcoming Bhuwan KC-production, Captain.
