Nepal wins Afghanistan by 25 runs in U19 Quadrangular One Day Series

ICC-World-Cup-Qualifier-Asia-2017Kathmandu / Sept 16: Nepal emerged victorious in the match of the U19 Quadrangular One Day Series held in Lucknow of India today. Nepal defeated Afghanistan by 25 runs to emerge the winner in the match that was held at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium.

Put into bat first after losing toss, Nepal lost its entire wickets and made 189 runs while Afghanistan, chasing the target of 190 runs, secured only 164 runs in 47.4 overs. Nepali team’s Pawan Saraff scored 78 runs. Likewise, Sandeep Zora made 28 runs, Rashid Khan 24, Lokesh Bom 16 and Bhim Sarkji 13 in the match. RSS
