11:55 am auspicious time for Bhai Tika

bhai tikaKathmandu / Oct 15: Nepal Calendar Determination Committee has announced the auspicious time for receiving and offering Bhai Tika on the occasion of the Tihar festival this year.

Chairperson of the Committee, Prof Dr Ram Chandra Gautam told that 11:55 am on November 9 is the most auspicious time for the offering and receiving Bhai Tika.

The Tihar festival, also known as Yamapanchak, will be celebrated from November 5 to November 9 this year.

The Kaag (crow) Tihar falls on November 5, Kukur (dog) Tihar on November 6, Laxmi Puja on November 7, Govardhan Puja, Gai Puja and Mha Puja on November 8 and Bhai Tika on November 9.
