Nepal levels T20 series after defeating UAE by 4 wickets

Nepal_cricketKathmandu / Feb 01: Nepal registered a victory in the second match of the ongoing T20 International Series held at the ICC Academy Ground at Dubai on Friday. With this win, Nepal has leveled the 3-match series by 1-1, keeping the hope alive for winning the series.

Nepal reached the 108-run target set by the opponent team in 19.3 overs losing six weeks.

Right-hand batsman Dipendra Singh Airee top-scored with 47 not-out runs including four fours and one six off 41 balls, Karan KC made 20 runs including two fours and one six off 23 balls while Pawan Sarraf contributed 18 runs including two fours off 25 balls.

Likewise, Pradip Airee, Gyanendra Malla and Sandip Jhora made 8, 7 and 1 run respectively while skipper Paras Khadka could not collect even a single.

Sultan Ahmed took two wickets while Mohammad Naveed, Amir Hayat, Imran Haider and Zahoor Khan shared one wicket each.

Earlier, after winning the toss UAE elected to bat first and made 107 runs in 19.2 overs losing all the wickets.
