Responsibility to private sector for solid waste management in Myagdi

garbage energyMyagdi / Feb 13: The private sector has been entrusted with the responsibility for the management of solid waste emanating from Beni Bazaar, Myagdi district headquarters.

An agreement to this effect was signed between the Beni Municipality and Mission for Waste Management Pvt Ltd Pokhara on Tuesday.

Municipality Mayor Hari Kumar Shrestha and company proprietor Yam Damai signed the agreement, shared Ram Krishna Baraili, spokesperson at the municipality.

With the agreement in place, the company could use a tractor and a compactor of the municipality for collection, transportation and management of the solid wastes.

The Company will be responsible for collecting and managing solid wastes piled up at Beni Bazaar, Galeshwar Bazaar and Ratopahiro.RSS
