Nepali food festival in Pakistan

Kathmandu / Apr 13: Nepali food festival was organised in different parts of Pakistan to mark the 60 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Pakistan.

In the festival events held at capital city Islamabad, economic hub Karachi and cultural city Lahore, Nepal’s musical group ‘Kutumba’ presented several cultural programmes, according to the Nepali Embassy in Islamabad today. Nepali ambassador to Pakistan Sewa Lamsal and Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua had jointly inaugurated the nine-day food festival that concluded on last Thursday.

On the occasion, ambassador Lamsal said she was effortful to enhance people-to-people relations between the two countries. According to the Embassy, Pakistani foreign secretary Janjua said Nepal’s experience and skills would be useful in the promotion of tourism in Pakistan. RSS
