Party unification process to be completed by mid-July, says PM

Kathmandu / June 29: Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Communist Party K P Sharma Oli has claimed that the party unification will be completed by mid-July.

Speaking at a function to mark the 68th birth anniversary of Madan Bhandari at City Hall, Oli said, “Despite some delays, we are going to complete the party unification process very soon.”

Citing delays in uniting the parties, people were doubtful about it. Some also made fun of both parties. Despite such criticisms, we are going to complete the party unification process by the end of the current fiscal.”

He reiterated that the government has been doing its best to live up to the people’s expectations.

“We won’t force the people to trust or praise us. It is for them to judge and decide the government’s performance,” Oli added.
