Min Thapa and Apurba Thapa win Sarad Memorial Senior Tennis Tournament

Kathmandu / Dec 28: Min Thapa and Apurba Thapa won the title of Sarad Memorial Senior Tennis Tournament.

Thapa duo won the title after defeating Ceasar Gurung and Prakash Bogati in a cometitive match held at Naulin Sports Villa on Saturday.

The winner duo received a purse of 30 thousand rupees each and trophies, while the runner up received a purse of 15 thousand rupees each and trophies.

Organized by Sarad Memorial Foundation, a total of 46 players participated in the tournament. Players from 45 to 75 years participated in the tournament organized in memory of late Sarad Shrestha, who list his life in a traffic accident. Sunil Shrestha, who is the main organizer of the event and brother of Sarad, informed that the tournament was organized to promote healthy living of senior people in memory of his late brother.

Santa Shrestha, mother of late Shrestha, handed over the prize and trophies to the winners and runner ups.
