Vinay Mohan Kwatra appointed as India’s next ambassador to Nepal

Kathmandu / Jan 30: Vinay Mohan Kwatra has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Nepal, Ministry of External Affairs of India announced on Thursday.

Kwatra, who is currently an Indian ambassador to France, is expected to take up his diplomatic assignment in Kathmandu shortly, the MEA stated on its official website.

On January 14, India had proposed Kwatra as its new envoy to Nepal after Manjeev Singh Puri returned home completing his tenure.
