Measures adopted by Govt. effective in checking COVID-19 spread: HLCC

Kathmandu / May 5: The meeting of High Level Coordination Committee (HLCC) to prevent and control COVID-19 held at Singhadurbar today has concluded that lockdown was apt in preventing the spread of Coronavirus.

Narayan Prasad Bidari, secretary of the Office of Council of Ministers said, “In the current scenario, implementation of lockdown has become successful in preventing the spread of COVID-19. This preventive measure should be continues more effectively.”

He said that extension or lifting of the ongoing lockdown would be decided in the meeting of Council of Ministers tomorrow.
