Inter-district pass cancelled, MoHA’s written approval required to enter Kathmandu

Kathmadnu, May 12: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has decided to rescind all pass issued before to travel from one district to another from Thursday.

Likewise, written approval of home ministry is required, which can be obtained by the concerned Chief District Officers, to send anyone to Kathmandu from other districts, informed Kedarnath Sharma, spokesperson of the Ministry.

MoHA took the decision to this effect, considering the increasing cases of COVID-19.

Also, the employees now will not be able to travel with the help of identity cards issued by their offices. The concerned authorities should issue pass for employees to attend office.

The ministry has informed that the media persons can travel by obtaining pass from Department of Information.
