Three Nations Cup Final: Nepal wins Bangladesh 2-1

Kathmandu / Mar. 29: Nepal has defeated Bangladesh 2 against 1 goals in the final match of the Three Nations Cup that was played at Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu on Monday.

Nepal, playing an attacking game against Bangladesh throughout the game, netted the ball in the 18th minute. Sanjog Rai, who was unmarked by the opponent during Nepal’s corner kick, guided the ball into the net.

Another goal for the Nepali side was scored by Bishal Rai in the 42nd minute. Rai delicately kicked the ball into the Bangladeshi goalpost from the right side of the D box.

Bangladesh, which tried to score a goal in the second half, played an attacking game. Nepal conceded the lone goal in the 83th minute scored by the substitute player Mahbubur Rahman.

With this, Nepal has been awarded $ 5000.

Prime Minister K P Oli also reached Dasharath Stadium to watch the football match.
