Nepal approves Multi-year plan of 11 Smart Cities

Kathmandu / May 20: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dr Pushpa Raj Kandel, who was reappointed to the post of vice-chairperson of the National Planning Commission.

Dr Kandel was reappointed to the post after the reappointment of CPN (UML) Parliamentary Party leader KP Sharma Oli to the post of the Prime Minister.

The recently held cabinet meeting had appointed Dr Krishna Prasad Oli, Dr Usha Jha, and Min Bahadur Shahi to the post of members of the Commission as per the order of formation of the Commission.

Assuming the office after taking the oath of office and secrecy, Dr Kandel decided to approve a multi-year plan of 11 smart cities across the nation. RSS
