Bollywood actors in Nepal for Film Shooting

Kathmandu / Oct. 5: Bollywood actors Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra and Sarika Hassan are now in Nepal for the shooting of their upcoming film ‘Uunchai’.

They arrived in Nepal on Monday. The film Uunchai is being directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya.

Actor Anupam Kher had posted a video of his visit to the Pashupatinath Temple through his social media on Tuesday.

He wrote, “It is a pleasure to return to the city of temples and stupas after a long hiatus. This is my fourth film with Sooraj.”

The team of Bollywood actors will shoot the film in Manang, Mustang, Lukla, Langtang and other places.

This is the seventh film of Sooraj Barjatya, who has earlier directed super hit films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Vivah, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Hum Saath – Saath Hai.

Danny Denzongpa and Neena Gupta will also be in the lead roles in the film. The filming schedule is of 40 days. The team expects to complete the film by March, 2022.

‘Uunchai’ is Anupam Kher’s 520th film. He has expressed his happiness through social media after joining the film.

He wrote, “Friends!! The journey of my 520th film #Uunchai begins. Working with cinema genius #Soorajbarjatya & @rajshrifilms is a blessing!”

The film is being produced under the banner of Rajshri Productions. After a long hiatus, Rajshri Productions has arranged for the making of this film.
