Singh appointed IGP of Nepal Police, Aryal APF Chief

Kathmandu / May 1: The government has appointed Dhiraj Pratap Singh as the 29th Inspector General of Nepal Police.

A cabinet meeting held on Sunday decided to appoint Additional Inspector General Dhiraj Pratap Singh as Inspector General of Nepal Police.

Likewise, Sunday’s cabinet meeting has decided to appoint Additional Inspector General Raju Aryal to the post of Inspector General of the Armed Police Force.

Minister for Drinking Water Umakanta Chaudhary informed that the cabinet meeting had decided to appoint Additional Inspector General of Police Singh as Inspector General of Police.

The government has decided to appoint Singh as the new Chief of Police after the current Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri going to retire today due to 30 years of service.
