Nepali airlines excited about PRIA coming into operation from New Year

Kathmandu / Dec 30: The news of the Pokhara Regional International Airport (PRIA) coming into operation from the New Year 2023 has excited the Nepali airlines.

Nepali airlines are excited as commercial flights will start at PRIA from Sunday (January 1). Airline companies have expressed their belief that commercial flights from PRIA will prove to be a milestone in Nepal’s tourism sector.

The companies said that it is a matter of pride to start commercial flights from the third international airport in Nepal. The companies said that PRIA has all the necessary services of international level, and passengers flying domestically will also be able to have a flight experience of international level.

Yeti Airlines Spokesperson Sudarshan Bertaula said that the airline is excited to start commercial flights from the country’s third international airport. He said that passengers flying domestically will be able to take international flights. Spokesperson Bertaula said that the problem of flight cancellations will be eliminated when commercial flights are started from PRIA.

He also said that Yeti Airlines has prepared a schedule to add 10 flights after the airport becomes operational.

Likewise, Buddha Air Spokesperson Dipendra Karna also said that he was excited about the airport coming into operation from the New Year. He said that Buddha Air has made all preparations to fly from the Pokhara international airport. Spokesman Karna said that the airline is also excited about the physical facilities at the airport.
