Cabinet meeting directs ministries to submit plan of action within a Week

Kathmandu / Jan 18: The cabinet meeting has directed the concerned ministries to submit a plan of action to implement the government’s primary policy and common minimum program to the cabinet within a week.

Similarly, newly appointed Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has been designated as a governments’ spokesperson.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel today informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers has formally announced minister Sharma as a government spokesperson.

The meeting has decided to appoint Professor Dr DevRaj Adhikari as a chairperson of the University Grant Commission.

The meeting has fixed sugarcane price Rs 540 per quintal. The government will bear transportation cost of Rs 70.

The meeting also decided to form a committee to set a standard for honoring government awards.

CIT Minister Sharma Designated as Govt Spokesperson
