Labour Ministry to begin Time-Card system within six months

Kathmandu / Jan 31 : The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has announced to begin time card system in its line agencies to ensure timely and accessible service delivery to the service recipients.

Minister for Laobur, Employment and Social Security Dol Prasad on Tuesday committed to implementing the idea of time card system within six months as part of timely service delivery.

“Preparations are afoot to implement time card to provide labour-related service in the given time,” Minister Aryal said, adding that the reason should be stated if service delivery was not likely. Minister Aryal directed the officials saying that dillydallying was not expected in the offices.

Likewise, the Ministry has brought the ‘Shramadhan: 24-Hour Labour Assistance Centre’ into operation from Tuesday. The labourers from home and abroad can lodge their complaints, difficulties and grievances in the Centre, which works as a call centre round-the-clock.

Similarly, Minister Aryal shared that a mobile app of Shramadhan would also be made public within six months. RSS
