NC’s first priority is to establish rule of law: DPM Singh


Kathmandu / Dec 15: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has said that the Nepali Congress is on a campaign of establishing the rule of law in the country.

Addressing a programme organized as part of the Nepali Congress (NC)’s 100-day Campaign at Naya Baneshwar of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31 here today, DPM and NC leader Singh said the government would be run as per the constitution and it is the NC’s first priority to establish the rule of law.

“Nepali Congress has been always active in establishing the rule of law. We do not even imagine of anything against the rule of law,” he said, urging all the party leaders and workers to well understand the context that all works are carried out in accordance with the laws and the constitutional process. He called on the party workers to work to make the party stronger.

DPM Singh said it is time to work rather than make speeches and urged all the party leaders and workers to do the same.

Stating that he will be regularly present in his contact office at Baneshwar on every Thursday, he urged the locals of his constituency to share with him without hesitation if there are any problems in the area.RSS
