Govt to unveil policies and programs on May 2, Pre-budget discussion on May 11

Kathmandu / April 25: The House of Representatives (HoR) has finalized a fortnightly calendar for its ongoing session. The Federal Parliament’s annual session is set to commence today and the calendar spans until May 14.
The Business Advisory Committee of the HoR has prepared two separate schedules: one covering until April 28 and another from April 29 to May 13.
According to the schedule, the House will sit today, and again on April 27 and 28. The next sitting will be on April 29, followed by a key session on May 2, when the government’s policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year will be presented.
The policy and program will be delivered by the President at the joint session of the Federal Parliament.
Further House meetings are scheduled for May 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, and 14, with specific agendas assigned for each day. The pre-budget discussion is slated to begin on May 11.
