Govt. forms dialogue panel to get Japanese loan of Rs. 14.69 billion

Kathmandu / Aug. 5: The government of Nepal has decided to form a team to hold dialogue with the government of Japan with regard to borrowing concessional Japanese loan assistance to implement the project related to strengthening the transmission and distribution of electricity in the urban areas.

The government of Nepal hopes to get Rs.14.69 billion as loan assistance.

Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is also the government spokesperson, said so while disclosing the decision of the Council of Ministers on Friday.

The meeting also decided to form a committee to fix the compensation for the affected people from the Madhya Bhotekoshi Transmission Line project, according to the Minister.
