President Bhandari returns Nepal Citizenship, first amendment Bill to HoR for reconsideration

Kathmandu / Aug. 14: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has returned the Nepal Citizenship, First Amendment Bill to the House of Representatives (HoR) for reconsideration.

The amendment bill was presented to the President for authentication after being endorsed by the HoR and the National Assembly (NA).

The spokesperson of the Office of the President, Sagar Acharya, issued a press release on Sunday evening to this effect.

The Bill was to amend the Nepal Citizenship Act 2063 BS.
