Three-member talks team to hold dialogue with Dr KC
Kathmandu / July 20: The government has formed a three-member team comprising three government secretaries to initiate dialogue in connection with the demands of Dr Govinda KC, who has been on a fast-unto-death.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held this evening has decided to form the talks team comprising secretaries from Prime Minister’s Office, Health Ministry and Education Ministry, shared government spokesperson and Information Minister Sherdhan Rai.
He noted that the government has already started implementing agreements signed between the government and Dr KC in keeping with recommendations of various commissions.
The Cabinet meeting decided to scrap Petro Products and Gas Trade Regulation Directive-2069. The meeting also decided to scrap licenses registered in the names of different companies.
Likewise, the government has extended the timeline of the local Peace Committees for a year effective from last July 16. RSS
