Migrant workers provide x-ray machine to Mygdi hospital

myagdi_districtMyagdi / November 21: People of Myagdi district currently working in Hong Kong have provided a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine worth Rs 1.1 million to the District Hospital Myagdi.

The x-ray machine was handed over to the hospital from lawmaker Nardevi Pun amid a function on Friday.

The Myagdi Overseas Nepalese Association (MONA) Hong Kong collected the amount to buy the x-ray machine by performing cultural programmes Deusi-Bhilo on the occasion of the Tihar.

Chairman of MONA Hong Kong Indra LG Thapa Magar said that they collected a total of Rs 1.81 million by performing cultural programmes among the Nepali communities in Hong Kong. Remaining Rs 665,000 would be kept as the revolving fund for the maintenance of the x-ray machine. The district hospital was in need of the machine for the past one year. RSS
