Farmers demand to control snow leopard

Mustang / December 3: Famers of Upper Mustang have demanded prevention of the rampage of snow leopard in the area.
The local farmers called for the Annapurna Conservation Area Project and District Livestock Office to put measures to control snow leopard and provide necessary compensation to the victims after a group of wild beast killed more than 110 mountain goats in Charang and Kagbeni two months back.
The victim farmers demanded the control of snow leopard since it has created havoc in the human settlement of late. RSS
