Name of four awards announced

Biratnagar/ December 18: Chetana Foundation Nepal has announced the names of four awards.

At a programme organized here on Thursday, Foundation Chairperson Ganga Subedi made public the name of the awards and those instituting them.

According to him, social activist Hari Bhakta Sitaula, Khagendra Sitaula and Dinesh Sitaula instituted Dharmananda-Rampyari Sitaula Sahitya Chetana Award in the name of their parents and Devenara Samuha set up Narbada Devi Mundada Sanatan Manabiya Dharma-Sanskriti Award in memory of their grandparents.

Similarly, it was informed that Dinesh Subedi instituted Naresh Subedi Journalism Chetana Award in the name of his brother Naresh. On the occasion, Ganga Subedi announced the setup of Bhupendra-Shobha Rijal Fine Art Chetana Award. Each award carries a purse of Rs 51,000.

The awards will be given away to the individuals making remarkable contributions in the areas of social work, art and literature every year, it was shared. RSS
