Govt to take action against VDC secretaries who fail to deliver services: Minister Dhakal

Gorkha / April 11: Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Eknath Dhakal has said that the government would take action against the VDC secretaries who fail to support the reconstruction projects.

Minister Dhakal who is also the chair of the Reconstruction Authority District Coordination Committee Gorkha, speaking in the meeting of the committee here today added that government will take action against such secretaries who forget their responsibility in this critical hour as quake survivours are forced to live under the open sky.

Also present in the meeting were lawmakers Chinkaji Shrestha, Kamala Panta, Hitraj Pandey, Krishna Dhital, Chham Bahadur Gurung, chief district officer Narayan Prasad Bhatta, local development officer Narayan Prasad Acharya, chief of the Sub-regional office of the Reconstruction Authority Gunaraj Bhattarai.
