90 per cent paddy plantation completed across Nepal

PaddyKathmandu / Aug. 05: Around 90 per cent paddy plantation of this monsoon season has been completed across Nepal so far.

According to the Director General at the Department of Agriculture, Yubak Dhoj GC, 92.19 per cent paddy plantation has been completed while the mark is 92.70 in mid mountain and 88.76 in Tarai.

The favourable monsoon credited for timely plantation of the paddy as the country heavily depends on monsoon for the same, according to the official. RSS
