Nepali migrant worker ‘murdered’ in Malaysia

nrnIthari / Aug. 06: A Nepali migrant worker, who was in Malaysia for last two years, was reportedly murdered on Friday.

Nagendra Chaudhary, a permanent resident of Bhurki, Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-7 of Sunsari district, was murdered at around 12:30 pm yesterday, the victim’s kin informed quoting a report they received.

It has been learned that two armed robbers took him under control, robbed his belongings and fatally threw him off the third floor of the hostel.

He had left for Malaysia via the Kathmandu-based Damaru Overseas, according to the family.

Another Nepali man who was working with Chaudhary, Prakash Basnet from Bhojpur district, informed that he was murdered some minutes after he had returned to his room from the duty.

Chaudhary was living in a single room along with five other workers, but they all had a different work shift from him. RSS
