Dispute on provinces should be settled even by amending statute: Dr Bhatatrai

Baburam_BhattaraiKathmandu / Aug 12: Coordinator of the Naya Shakti Nepal, Dr Baburam Bhattarai, has said that the dispute over the delineation of provinces should be settled soon even by amending the new constitution on the basis of consensus.

At a discussion programme organised by the Naya Shakti Nepal’s Political Dialogue Committee here on Friday, Dr Bhattarai stressed on directly elected executive chief by amending the new constitution for the sustainable political stability.

He also laid emphasis on heading the country towards the path of economic, social and cultural development along with constitution implementation by ending all types of discriminations prevailing in the country.

Also the former Prime Minister, Coordinator Dr Bhattarai said that price hike, corruption, unemployment and black marketing should be ended.

Similarly, civil society member Dr Sundarmani Dixit and economic expert Dr Bishwombhar Pyakurel urged the polity leaderships to head the country towards the path of development as people have wanted development. RSS
